Phone Data Transfer FAQ

Can you transfer from iPhone to Android (or vice versa)?

Yes! Cross-platform transfers are trickier but I handle them regularly. Most data transfers smoothly; some app-specific data may not transfer between platforms.

Will I lose my text messages?

For same-platform transfers (iPhone to iPhone, Android to Android), messages usually transfer completely. Cross-platform message transfer is more limited.

Can you transfer photos from a broken phone?

If the phone powers on and can connect to a computer or WiFi, I can usually recover photos. If the screen is completely dead, it depends on the phone model.

How much does phone data transfer cost?

$35 diagnostic (credited toward the work), $65/hr. Most transfers take about an hour.
