New Computer Setup FAQ

Can you transfer everything from my old computer?

Yes! I transfer your files, photos, documents, and bookmarks. Some programs need to be reinstalled rather than transferred, but I handle all of it.

How long does new computer setup take?

Typically 1-2 hours for setup with file transfer. Complex setups with lots of software or a slow old computer may take longer.

Do you remove the bloatware from new computers?

Yes! New PCs come loaded with trial software and junk. I remove all of it so your computer runs clean and fast from day one.

How much does new computer setup cost?

$10 up-front diagnostic (waived if you proceed with setup), $50/hr (1-hour minimum). Most setups cost $50-$100 total.
